my drawrings >B)
i did this one because i hadn't drawn in a while and wanted to get my creativity back. shes a very lovely lady and is a replica of a clay head i made inspired by egyptian cameo jewellry. the coulourful smoke idea was inspired by an album i was listening to. i used alcohol marker, felt tip, crayon, and silver ink- everything i would use as a kid. i like to try and use what i have. its a fun and colourful limitation.
below is a portrait of my neighbours cat. i call her my little lady because she seems to like me but nobody else. this is typical with our neighbourhood cats because not many people pay attention to them. i always try and say hi. she lives in the house my favourite cat as a kid lived. i named him (or rather because i was so young and couldnt speak, my father named him) mr. pussycat. he was very sweet. she likes to lay in the sun in her front garden under a bush but once she sees me she comes out and meows at me. i saw her once atop a bin one morning and i was surpeised as shes an older cat but obviously very cunning. i might see her later today :)
